Ocean
View’s primary staff is composed of an Administrator, Director, Assistant
Directors, Managers and Assistant Managers.
The following consist of some of their duties and responsibilities. Administrator: Responsible for overseeing
the day to day activities of Ocean View. Coordinates
and directs all staff in maintaining a level of excellence, professionalism and
support in connection to the services that Ocean View provides to its residents.
Director:
Responsible for handling the day to day activities of Ocean View, which
include interviewing prospective residents, follow-up regarding intakes, letters
and correspondence. The Director also serves as a liaison for Ocean View
residents regarding Court, Probation and Parole and works closely with the
Administrator to insure that Ocean View is available to be of maximum service
not only to our residents, but the community at large. Assistant
Directors of Men’s and Women’s Recovery:
These individuals serve as the eyes and ears of our Administrator and
Director. Our Assistant Directors
work closely with Managers and Assistant Managers, making sure that the
guidelines of Ocean View are being adhered to, and to monitor the overall
recovery of each individual house. Managers
and Assistant Managers: The Managers
and Assistant Managers live within Ocean View homes.
Each manager is responsible for the monitoring of resident activities in
connection with their adherence to Ocean View guidelines and progress in their
respective recovery pursuits. Managers
conduct weekly mandatory house meetings to address any concerns or issues that
may arise from each resident’s progress within their individual house.
Managers, as well as Administrators and Directors are required to conduct
random test for alcohol or drugs. Managers
are the first line of defense in assisting residents with their recovery and the
sometimes problematic issues that arise in becoming productive and responsible
individuals, free from all mind-altering substances.
